  Brief Profile  

Born in city Burewala, Punjab on September 7, 1992. Muhammad Ejaz Sarwar is currently enrolled in B.Sc. (Honors) in Economics at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Lahore. He completed F.Sc. from Government College, Burewala in 2010. He was elected as the General Secretary of Residential College at LUMS and successfully completed his tenure with efficiently building institutional infrastructure. He was also part of many student societies at LUMS like LUMS Daily Student and LUMS Law and Politics Society. He is very keen in building efficient, accountable, self sustaining and effectively governed state institutions. His interests include Public Policy, History and Foreign Affairs.

Politically, Muhammad Ejaz Sarwar is affiliated with Green Party and is working as Youth Shadow Minister for Interior, Kashmir Affairs, GB and FATA and is member of Youth Parliament Standing Committee on Interior, Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and FATA

Mr. Ejaz Sarwar (YP21-PUNJAB04) would like to move the following resolution: “This House is of the opinion that Kashmir issue lies at the heart of tension between Pakistan and India. It is indispensable for an honorable and equitable solution to Kashmir that both Pakistan and India move ahead with other confidence building measures such as liberalization of trade and relaxing visa regime to reach to the Kashmir problem step by step.”

Mr. Muhammad Ejaz Sarwar (YP21-PUNJAB04) and Ms. Momna Naem (YP31-PUNJAB14) would like to move following resolution: “This House is of the opinion that the National Accountability Commission Bill has been pending in the Parliament for more than five years. But the newly elected government should immediately start work on it so that an impartial, effective and unbiased accountability could be ensured.”

Mr. Ejaz Sarwar (YP21-PUNJAB04), Mr. Motasim Billah Khan (YP17-KP02) would like to move the following resolution: “This House is of the opinion that the government of Pakistan should develop proper Flood Preparedness plans, emergency response mechanisms and other preemptive measures to mitigate devastation caused by floods every year. The Government should build new water reservoirs, estructure irrigation and canal system and spread awareness about disaster and emergency control in Flood prone areas.”

Mr. Ejaz Sarwar (YP21-PUNJAB04) would like to move the following resolution: “This House is of the opinion that a parliamentary committee should be formed in order to look into the missing persons issue. This committee should propose proper legislation in this regard after consultations with relatives of missing persons, human rights organizations and relevant institutions so as to prevent such grave human rights violations.”

This committee should propose recommendations in this regard after consultations with relatives of missing persons, human rights organizations and relevant institutions.”
