Born on September 8, 1992. Aseela Shamim Haq completed her A-levels from Nixor College on merit scholarship and currently enrolled at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Lahore pursuing B.Sc. in Political Science. She has served as Chief Operating Officer for Meri Bhi Aik Khuaish Hai (an NGO based in Karachi) which caters to the wishes of children who are terminally ill. She is currently a writer and Assistant Director at Literary Pakistan (an organization with headquarters in LUMS, Lyceum Karachi and Berkeley) which is a movement to instil pride and a sense of responsibility among the youth of Pakistan. She is also writing for The Harbinger (a newspaper based in Lahore) and LUMS Daily Student (journalism society in LUMS). She has served as an Event Organizer for the Annual Journalism Conference (LUMS) which was attended by many renowned journalists in Pakistan and abroad. |
